Teacher Feedback

"This program was very helpful for my students not only as a whole but also individually. I also got a lot of assistance as the teacher receiving advice for dealing with parents and other difficult situations. Thank you!"
"We have incorporated all aspects of Built to Thrive that Ms. Brenda has thought us. We use the terms in our class and make it consistent. We remind our friends about Belly breaths and the calm down animals and talk about warning signs to help keep consistency but now our students have made the connection from Ms. Brenda’s class to the classroom and will remind their friends when they are noticing other feeling their big emotions. You have been a game changer and we’re so excited for your other opportunities and adventures but sad too because you’ve become so important in our students lives. Also, I want to say that our students have conversations with their friends about you! They love sharing their experiences, asking if it’s a Ms. Brenda day and reminding our friends the techniques. You’re such a strong presence with our kids!"
"...so many students had benefitted from your teachings and program!"

Our Story

Built To Thrive was originated from a partnership of a elementary classroom teacher and a Clinical Psychologist.  In a world where technology has brought great opportunity, it has also fostered some social and emotional growth and left some behind.  Our desire is to build social and emotional learning skills with children to help them become successful adults in a fast changing world.
